Re: VG/PG Ratio for NET

I'm surprised to see that you use an even higher PG ratio. It's not something I see very often. I will have to give it a try. Yes see my post elsewhere that shows my "base starting point mix ratio' https://www.diy-tobacco.net/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=7 Later (as time permits. :D .) I will run a spreadsh...

Re: VG/PG Ratio for NET

Overall I agree with what you point out, that VG ratios effect many aspects of the final vaping experience. I start with a ratio that is around 65%PG/35%VG by weight, but this is subject to adjustments based on "testing" the first mixes with a new extraction. Once "adjusted" I make a note of the rat...

Re: Nicotine Extraction?

it was because there was some amount of nicotine or whole tobacco alkaloid in the NET itself that was contributing to the 3mg/ml nicotine. Yes, i agree, and have noticed this exact phenomenon. Interestingly enough I am vaping one in my rotation now that exactly shows that. It is the original true R...

Re: Nicotine Extraction?

You asked that the answers avoid detailed chemisty, so I will try to give you a perspective that is by analogy and related to just two of the core issues that cause this quandary of "why does my tobacco extract not have a large amount of useable nicotine that I notice when I vape the liquid?" 1.) Va...

Re: My first 3 jars!

Hi there @Hourman ! Welcome to the BBS ! Your first three jars sound like a great selection! Especially the HH Dark Fired ! ;) It has always been one of my favorites, I use it 'neat' but also as a mix ingredient for top notes and sometimes a base flavoring. You will hear me and other toss around the...

Re: Trying to Clone Dunhill Royal Yacht

Since this subject has raised its ugly head again, ( :D ) I thought I would return to doing another A/B test to see if my memory was playing tricks on me or not. So: - I have an original sample of the the true (and very rare!) Dunhill Royal Yacht extract as provided to me by @Kinnikinnick - and I re...

Re: Trying to Clone Dunhill Royal Yacht

This came to my attention when @ Kinnikinnick happened to send me a PM with a picture of the Peterson try at this old line tobacco. So I have a tin o...

Re: Storing NET Extracts

Here is the post that initially caused concern: Yeah well,.. how can you argue with any statements made by an e-cig "Ultra Member" ??? Later, when I get a few minutes I'll make further comments to you in a PM But right now, for purposes of public comment here on the board, I will just say th...
