Re: Sourcing 316 SS Woven Wire Mesh

It works like a champ on the Galaxies. I never have a dry wick issue. I imagine it is due to the Galaxies stubby little tank. :?:

I haven’t gone back to testing with the Brunhilde quite yet; time hasn’t allowed. I was really hoping I would have the same outcome with the Brunhilde... alas, not yet.

Re: VG/PG Ratio for NET

I enjoy a 60P/40V ratio and have for many years now. Even when I was mixing with synthetic flavors, I tended to stick around that ratio. On occasion, I bump up it up to 70P/30V, when I have an extraction which seems a bit weak on flavor. I’ve also enjoyed the throat hit which a higher PG ratio has t...

Re: My first 3 jars!

if something works for you it is a HIT, no matter how others might feel about it. My thoughts exactly! Everyone comes into their own, with regards to flavor profiles. It took me 4+ years, extracting everything under the sun, before I settled into what really satisfies my tastebuds. Just for the rec...

Re: Sourcing 316 SS Woven Wire Mesh

Glad you found your sweet spot on the wicking! My hopes of the mesh wick solving my issues hasn’t worked out as planned, so far. I still need to play around with different mesh variations before I throw in the towel. The one variation I’ve tried, seems to create a vacuum in the tank, not allowing en...

Re: Please Allow Me, to Introduce Myself,

Welcome Hourman ... and welcome to the realm of DIY NET. With time, patience, trial/error, and reading the numerous posts of others describing their journey in the same realm, you will be producing your own NET which surpasses anything you might purchase today. How? Because, you will control the pro...

Re: Trying to Clone Dunhill Royal Yacht

I’m glad you’re having success in creating the clone of RY with the single leaf varietals in your stock. Cloning any liquid has always been a very frustrating, hit or miss project on my part. Many of the reviews I’ve read on the Peterson’s RY have been wildly different from each other. There’s a lot...

Re: Sourcing 316 SS Woven Wire Mesh

I’ve received my mesh in the post. The mesh is as described on Amazon; 12 nice little 2x2 screens. I’ve installed them in my Brunhilde. Now, for the test phase! I’ll vape on it for a few days and let you know the outcome. Here’s hoping it’s the fix for which you and I both desire. The Brunhilde MTL ...

Re: Storing NET Extracts

I’ve always just stored my NET at room temp in a cool dark place. Around the 3 year mark, down the drain they go. I always make 150ml batches of extract, using PG as the solvent... If I haven’t vaped that entire 150ml within that amount of time, that tells me I don’t need that extract in my stock! :...

Re: Sourcing 316 SS Woven Wire Mesh

Thanks for catching a mistake of mine! I’m so used to speaking of “316L SS” when speaking about the coil wire I use, til it automatically jumped into that post! Post edited  Indeed, the SS mesh I found on the Amazon is 316. I could find the mesh elsewhere online, however, just not in inexpensiv...
